Her company is at the cutting edge of both research into ethics in the modern day and technology development.   Olivia founded EI Edinburgh to tackle issues with ethics in developing artificial intelligence, such as apps and data collecting technologies.  EI Edinburgh work with technology developers to make sure that they create technology that is morally responsible, advising entrepreneurs and start-ups on how to create artificial intelligence that humans can trust and most benefit from using.  Olivia’s primary field of interest is moral responsibility with regard to autonomous cars.
