For those not familiar with BlackEd, the BlackEdMovement is a collective of Black students that came together to draft an open letter to Peter Mathieson. After garnering support from students & staff, they created a petition which has amassed 8000 signatures and counting. The BlackEdMovement was created in order to change the University’s approach to racial discrimination and engage both the University and the student body to make this a reality.
